Tribal Fairs starts from Ghotpal in South Bastar, Faraspal Mela is held on the Tuesday of the next week after Ghotpal Mela. This tradition has been going on since time immemorial, in the annual Karsad fair, people of about 17 parganas reach the fair site with their own village deities. At the same time, thousands of villagers also reach from nearby villages to enjoy the fair. After the traditional rituals, hundreds of dancers perform circumambulation at the fair site, dancing on the beats of the drums in their hands, a wonderful view of tribal culture and tradition is seen in the fair. This 4-day fair is held in the Kotwar Para (Sheetala Mata Temple) complex of Faraspal. This fair attracts tourists as a unique example of tribal dance, music and civilization.
