Gumer Waterfall (Munaga/ Pratapgiri Waterfall )

Gumer Waterfall is also an unknown name among the biggest and grand waterfalls of Bastar. Gumer is the second highest waterfall of Bastar after Nambi waterfall. Located, in the dense forests of Katekalyan, this waterfall may be called for its likeness as Bastar's Dudhsagar.
Near the inaccessible Munga village, the streams of the river fall from a height of more than four hundred feet and form a very attractive waterfall. The greenery spread far and wide in front of the waterfall adds to the beauty of the waterfall. The streams falling on the head of the mountain get lost in the dense forests doing milk anointing. The waterfall is so tall that it is not possible to see it completely in one go.
While crossing the mountains by walk in the middle of the dense forests, when the tourists see the charming view of the waterfall in front of them, they will definitely feel that the price of their hard work is paid back. The nests of wild pigeons on the rocks of the waterfall give this waterfall the unique name of Gumer in local dialect.
